Drink like a Texan.
In 2006, we became the first distillery in the state of Texas to legally produce a distilled spirit from a raw ingredient since Prohibition. That raw ingredient was Texas molasses, which we fermented and distilled into Treaty Oak Platinum Rum, on a handmade copper pot still. We’ve experimented, failed, succeeded and grown a lot since then, and we’re proud as hell to be doing it in Texas. So, we’re celebrating Texas Independence Day by bringing Treaty Oak Barrel Reserve Rum back to the shelves. We’ll be offering tours all day from 1-6pm, sharing how we make our Texas Spirits and focusing on the historic heritage of our Hill Country property with recovered artifacts that trace back to the frontier days of Texas.
